Alternatives 2017 will be held at the Boston Park Plaza from Friday evening, August 18 through Monday, August 21, 2017. The conference will begin with dinner and opening night speakers on Friday evening, with full days of workshops Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

When making a reservation online you will see a $20 facility fee added to your reservation. We have negotiated this fee to be waived and it will be removed from your reservation when you make payment.

Arriving from Logan International Airport options:

  • Airport Cab Service, Uber or Lyft.
  • Boston's Subway: The "T" - The Boston Park Plaza Hotel is located at the Arlington Stop (Green Line) (see instructions below).

Public Transportation

The T (MBTA - Subways, Buses and Trains):

Locals call the MBTA "the T", and it's an excellent way to get around. The subways come about every 15 minutes or more frequently during rush hours.

Getting from Logan Airport to the Hotel

From Boston Logan Airport take the free Massport shuttle bus from your terminal to the Airport Station on the Blue Line. Head inbound to the Government Center stop and switch to any Green Line train outbound (follow signs for "Park Street/Arlington") and get off at Arlington. The Park Plaza Hotel is across the street from Boston Public Garden at the corner of Boylston & Arlington Streets.

Parking in downtown Boston is expensive, although some lots have discounts on the weekend. Parking at the hotel is not included in the room rates. Some rates near the hotel are:
